Villa Allure in Crete is an exclusive property that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea from the crest of the hills just outside the village of Dafnes in the south of Heraklion. TOP RATED VILLA IN CRETE

Our group of 6 adults and 4 children enjoyed a fabulous 10 night stay at Villa Allure in August 2022. The villa looked exactly like it did in the photos, if not more impressive. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with far more pots, pans, glasses and crockery than you could possibly need. The views from the villa across the vineyards and down to the sea were stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the large pool and beautiful grounds. We didn't use the kitchen in the main house and cooked all our meals in the kitchen of the pool house which worked perfectly for us. The villa owners were extremely helpful both in advance of our trip and when we were there. Before we booked we asked if they had any additional sunloungers as there didn't look to be many for our group, and they offered to buy some more, which they duly did. Communication before and throughout the trip were excellent. We booked directly, and there is always a bit of a concern when doing this that all may not be as it seems, but we had absolutely no issues, and they were very accommodating when one of our payments took a while to arrive. The nearby village of Dafnes doesn't have a huge amount to offer, but it does have a few very small shops, a pharmacy, restaurants and a few wineries you can visit. We managed to arrange for online supermarket deliveries from a local supermarket chain which saved us having to drive down to Heraklion for groceries. There is also a local restaurant who will deliver to the villa. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend Villa Allure, the website really does give a good representation of what to expect, and Sophia, Katja and the team will ensure you are well looked after.

Rarely does a villa delivery so much more that their website photos and videos! Villa Allure does! The luxurious features of this villa just blew us away! Tucked away in the mountains with a view through the valley to the sea, everything is top class. It is like spending a week in a millionaires house! Every room is full of amazing art and furniture and every draw full of utensils that one actually needs to be self-sufficient. We found ourself cooking in the separate stone house by the pool and relaxing on the huge patio's and verandas. Everywhere we looked gave us a pleasant surprise! From finding secret gardens and beautiful hideaways, to picking shallots in the allotment to make home made Stifado! A definite dream of a villa. Thank you!

Exceeded our expectations in everyway. From the villas comfort,facilities, location and lovely staff that paid attention to every little detail making our stay the best it could be.We stayed 2 weeks and it felt like home straight away, not to mention the lovely walks through the endless olive groves and down to the welcoming little town of Dafnes where you can meet and chat to the friendly local farmers.I can't think of a better place or island better suited to organise a retreat or sports activity for small groups.

A lovely home that suited our large two family party perfectly, Very clean and well equipped in a great location for privacy while still close enough to a wide range of attractions and activities to keep us busy. Our hosts were most welcoming and went to great effort to ensure we made the most of our stay. We arrived to a super welcome pack of wine and groceries to see us through our first day and were most appreciative of the wonderful basket of absolutely delicious fruit and vegetables left for us from their garden and vineyard. The views are simply spectacular - a fabulous start to each day with morning coffee. Highly recommended!

We were quite impressed with the house with our group of 7 adults and 6 children: beautiful views over the vineyards, hills, the sea... Everything you needed (and even more) was there: crockery, glasses, towels, cooking utensils, laundry supplies, soap, shampoo,... nothing was missing! If we had a question or comment, it was immediately answered by Sophia or Katja and, if necessary, someone was even immediately at the door to help. The small village of Dafnes has its own bakery, supermarket, coffee house and restaurant, so you can do everything on foot if you wish. If you would like to visit something, there are a number of sights just 30 minutes away. Rooms: Spacious rooms with separate bathroom. Walkability: There are small businesses nearby. Larger shops are about 20 minutes away.

We had the perfect holiday here! The villa is simply breathtakingly beautiful and furnished with great attention to detail - everything is just right here! The hostesses were extremely helpful and gave lots of useful tips for beaches and restaurants in the area. We will be back definitely!
